Highlights of Recent Work

Nameboy.com:

• Redesigned several existing custom-written utilities to improve database performance; reduced total runtime of daily database maintenance tasks from 10+ hours to less than 45 minutes using computing-on-demand products from Amazon’s EC2 service
• Installed, configured, and implemented new hosting environment, and moved all site code to this new environment
• Updated site code to protect user input-dependent functionality from harmful/malicious input
• Ported site code to work in a register-globals-free environment, and to also make it work in PHP5

StepHouse Networks:

• Designed and built a rental property catalog system using the Code Igniter MVC framework, for which I provide ongoing support and enhancements (See the site)

MyFolio.com LLC (In Progress):

• Creating page templates for ClipShare, a third-party commercial PHP application, from design comps
• Enhancing and adding functionality to existing code where needed
